Entry 7: 5/27/2013

I had a pretty intense workout session 12:00 PM to 2:15 PM. It was hard, but not what I want. I want sculpted body, not only to be physically fit, but to accomplish a goal. I’m losing body fat at a pretty good rate, and the workout I’ve been doing is easier than it used to be. But this isn’t necessarily a good sign; my body could just be adjusting to the workout, meaning it’s not as effective as it was originally. So I may switch is out for another workout.
The second topic I wanted to bring up is traits of something called the dark triad.  narcissism, Machiavellianism and psychopath.
Although arguably immoral, control over these personality traits would be completely beneficial. As I’m not one for morals, I would suggest looking into these traits.
Narcissism: Narcissism is defined by Merriam-Webster Dictionary as “A Mental disorder characterized by extreme self-absorption, an exaggerated sense of self-importance, and a need for attention and admiration from others.” Look at this from a positive point of view, all these traits lead to high ambition, although one could expect attention and admiration without any work, one who believe that’s with hard work, that they deserve it, will work as hard as they can to achieve the admiration. The point being: If you believe you are the god’s gift to the world, you will work like you are god’s gift to the world. You will aspire to the greatest feats, only to prove to yourself that it’s the truth.
: Machiavellianism is defined as “the view that politics is amoral and that any means, however unscrupulous, can justifiably be used in achieving political power. “ This is absolutely true; manipulation of others is a common occurrence. Following moral conventions will only burden your quest for goals.
·         Psychopath: defined as “The psychopathic personality is characterized by impulsive thrill-seeking and in its "primary" form by selfishness, callousness (insensitivity), lack of personal affect, superficial charm, and remorselessness.” None of these traits has any negative side effects as long as calibration is used to maintain balance between positive and negative outcomes.
For those who find the dark triad morally appalling, heed this: Morals have only been created to protect those in power, but to be in power, you must not follow these morals, for they are the wall between you and leaders. The government condemns murder, yet commits executions with ease. Am I calling for revolution? No, without leaders, survival would be next to impossible. We must accept that people will always be in power, I’m only suggesting how to become a leader.
